This New Semi-Private Jet Can Now Fly You From Los Angeles to the Hamptons
Aero, a private jet airline, has debuted a coast-to-coast route that takes travelers from Los Angeles to the Hamptons aboard a Gulfstream IV-SP. The 12-seat aircraft can cover 4,833 nautical miles and offers amenities such as Starlink Wi‑Fi and a premium open bar with Veuve Clicquot. Flights depart from Van Nuys Airport in Aero's own terminal at 8:30 am and arrive at a private terminal in New York at 5:50 pm, with fare prices starting at $7,730. Upon arrival, travelers transfer to a Blade turboprop for the short hop to East Hampton Airport, ensuring a seamless end-to-end experience. Reservations are now open as Aero expands its roster of direct first-class routes to destinations such as Ibiza, London, Mykonos, and Nice, including a 2024 extension to Napa. CEO Ben Klein described the new service as a solution for time-strapped guests who want luxury and convenience on a coast-to-coast itinerary. The private airline has previously connected other high-demand spots, and this service reinforces its model by combining long-range travel with a domestic leg.
