Two American pilots have lost their lives in deadly private jet crash

Two American pilots died when a Gulfstream G200 Galaxy private jet crashed after taking off from La Romana International Airport in the Dominican Republic. The pilots, Erik Javier Diago and Ruddy Ghazal, were the sole occupants; officials said no passengers were reported on board. The jet, en route to Austin to pick up Yadier Molina and his family, reportedly issued an emergency about 16 nautical miles southwest of La Romana before crashing in an open field and erupting in flames.
