Zelensky says Ukraine ready to share drone tech with Nordic and Baltic countries
Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky met Nordic and Baltic leaders in Tallinn to discuss drone policy amid recent incursions into the NB8 region. Estonia, hosting the NB8 summit, gathered Zelensky and Estonian President Alar Karis to push for cheaper means to shoot down drones over Estonia, including Ukraine's interceptor drones. Zelensky said Ukraine is ready to share low-cost interceptor drones and training to bolster partners' defenses, and to deploy experts when needed. Karis cautioned that drones are likely to cross Baltic airspace again and urged calm while diplomacy continues. Zelensky emphasised Ukraine's EU membership ambitions, stating Kyiv has met the conditions to open accession negotiations and urged swift approval this summer.
