FSAI alert over undeclared egg and milk in batch of chicken sliders

The Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) has issued a food recall for a batch of Dunnes Stores 8 Southern Fried Chicken Sliders after undeclared egg and milk were found. The authority said the batch was mispacked, with Dunnes Stores Cheddar and Pulled Ham Scones incorrectly included. FSAI warned the sliders may be unsafe for consumers allergic to or intolerant of egg and milk, advising those consumers not to eat the affected batch. The implicated product is a 272g pack with a “used by” date of November 8, 2026. Retailers are told to remove the batch and post recall notices at point of sale.
