Litchfield-Tshabalala says MK Party gave no reasons for expulsion

Former uMkhonto we Sizwe Party (MK Party) member Khanyisile Litchfield-Tshabalala says she was not given reasons for her immediate expulsion from the party. Earlier today, MK Party announced that Dr Litchfield-Tshabalala and Pumlani Kubukeli were expelled on the grounds that they carried out acts and conduct viewed as detrimental to the party’s good name, reputation, integrity, and interests. The party also cited claims that the pair undermined unity and organisational discipline. Litchfield-Tshabalala said she cannot recall any actions of hers that could have harmed the party’s reputation, adding that she believes the truth will emerge.
