xCruzo Brief

The Irish Food Safety Authority (FSAI) has issued a recall for three batches of Capri-Sun Orange after incorrect sugar labelling was identified. The regulator said the mistake could mislead people who need to monitor their sugar intake, including those with diabetes. It reported that some Capri-Sun Orange Zero multipacks may actually contain drinks with regular sugar content. The issue stems from a packaging error in which certain multipacks were fitted with pouches incorrectly labelled as the zero sugar product. The affected 10 x 200ml multipacks, originating from the UK, carry a best before date of APR/2027 and batch codes 26104CS03, 26105CS03, and 26106CS03. Recall notices will be displayed at point of sale.
