xCruzo Brief

Acron Aviation has signed a long-term supply agreement with Deutsche Aircraft for flight recording and standby instrumentation for the D328eco regional turboprop. Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, Acron will provide a 25-hour flight recorder and standby systems specifically covering the D328eco program, supporting the aircraft as it approaches service. Deutsche Aircraft, developing and industrializing the 40-seat turboprop in Germany, said the partnership strengthens its manufacturing ecosystem through development, certification and production. The agreement supports regulatory needs because flight recorders capture operating data and cockpit information for investigations, maintenance analysis and compliance. The company expects flight testing to begin in 2026 and entry into service in late 2027, targeting an operationally flexible, cost-efficient aircraft derived from the Dornier 328. Production is planned at Leipzig/Halle Airport’s carbon-neutral final assembly line, with capacity projected at up to 48 aircraft annually at full rate.
