Adds two more Jersey routes for rest of summer
Jet2 has added two more routes connecting Jersey with airports in England for the rest of the summer, expanding travel options for seasonal passengers. The new services link Jersey with Bournemouth and London Stansted, and take Jet2’s total to eight routes between the UK and Jersey during the summer period. Chief executive Steve Heapy said the airline is responding to strong demand from customers and independent travel agents, calling it a “significant investment” in its Jersey operation. He also noted capacity growth three-fold for next summer, with more choice and connectivity on sale. Tricia Warwick, chief executive of Visit Jersey, said the additions reflect continued confidence in the island and provide a wider audience to experience Jersey’s landscapes and local hospitality.
