Air Serbia adds another Airbus A320 jet to its fleet says the national carrier welcomed a new Airbus A320 to expand its scheduled operations. The aircraft, registered as YU-APU, arrived at Belgrade’s Nikola Tesla Airport on Tuesday and is expected to enter service soon. Air Serbia said the plane was manufactured in 2007 and configured with 180 seats, and that its arrival supports fleet improvement and increased capacity, while replacing older A319 models to improve efficiency. The A320-232 is powered by two IAE engines providing 27,000 lbf (120.1 kN) of thrust each, and it has a 35.80-m wingspan and 37.57-m length. Air Serbia noted the aircraft received painting in the Netherlands before coming to Belgrade and that its current fleet includes Airbus A330-200, A320-200, A319-100, Embraer E195, and ATR 72-600 aircraft.
