The first Airbus A350 Freighter, MSN700 registered F-WXLD, is scheduled to make its maiden flight from Toulouse on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Airbus says the sortie starts the aircraft’s certification campaign ahead of planned entry into service in 2027, after a development period that included years of preparation. The planned test program involves around 400 flight hours across two test aircraft, with engineers collecting data needed for regulator certification. The flight is expected to depart at 10:20am CEST (9:20am BST) and return with landing anticipated around 2:20pm CEST (1:20pm BST), subject to weather and operational requirements.
