Airline returning to UK with new flights from Stansted to Mediterranean hotspot
Cyprus Airways says it will restart UK service with year-round, daily direct flights between London Stansted and Larnaca, beginning April 23, 2027. The new route will operate every day, offering travellers in Essex a direct way to reach Cyprus’ eastern Mediterranean “hotspot,” known for golden beaches, historic sites and year-round sunshine. Larnaca features palm-lined promenades, clear waters and a busy marina, with access to the Troodos Mountains, traditional villages and archaeological locations. Fare listings on the airline’s site show Economy Basic return fares from €423 (£355), including a 10kg cabin bag and personal item, with higher options including checked baggage and lounge access. The airline last regularly flew to London in 2015.
