Airlines rescheduled flights to Valencia
Airlines rescheduled flights to Valencia as international carriers rerouted services away from Maiquetía toward Arturo Michelena International Airport in Valencia. Copa Airlines reported provisional additions of two flights alongside its daily route to the capital of Carabobo state, available until July 2, subject to operating conditions. The extra services cover Valencia–Panama, with date and origin/destination changes and free refunds allowed under certain policies. Copa says it will continue normal operations at Barquisimeto, Barcelona, and Maracaibo, and passengers should use airline or travel-agent channels to rebook. Avianca also shifted its Venezuela-bound international operations to Valencia Airport and implemented a contingency plan to support passenger arrival and departure, plus transport of rescue and humanitarian aid. Avianca introduced flexible measures for tickets issued between June 24 and July 15, 2026, including changing travel dates to August 31 without penalties. Wingo brought forward its Bogotá–Valencia launch to July 3, operating daily until July 9.
