American Airlines Cancels Flights To 28 Long-Haul Airports: See Full List
xCruzo Brief
American Airlines will add Porto, Reykjavík and Vienna to its long-haul network, according to Cirium Diio data. From now until next July, the airline plans an average of 78 long-haul departures per day to 36 airports across Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and South America. The route expansion comes as American’s long-haul footprint remains a small slice of its overall operation, even though it is the world’s largest airline by total flights. A separate analysis of oneworld’s European network since 2006 says American no longer serves 13 European airports, including Dubrovnik, and details service totals such as 8,575 at Manchester alone.
