All Nippon Airways (ANA) has boosted its Embraer E190-E2 orderbook with eight additional jets, aiming to “flexibly respond” to future domestic travel demand. The order—approved by ANA’s board on 29 July—adds to an existing commitment for up to 20 E190-E2s announced in 2025. That earlier package, later firmed at the Paris air show in 2025, includes 15 firm orders and five options. The latest eight aircraft are valued at about Y105 billion (around $642 million) in an ANA Holdings stock filing. Deliveries are expected between fiscal 2029 (starting 1 April 2029) and 2032. The aircraft will be flown by Tokyo-based codeshare partner IBEX Airlines, with IBEX crews operating under ANA flight numbers.
