BAA Training France has become the first aviation training center worldwide to operate an Airbus A320 Full Flight Simulator certified to Airbus Standard 2.2.1 and declared ready for training. The simulator is owned by Transavia France, part of the Air France-KLM Group low-cost business, and is operated and maintained by BAA Training. It is now available for training for airlines and operators globally. The certification aligns training with the latest A320neo developments, supporting an environment that reflects current airline operations. Features include an Air Traffic Services Unit with Future Air Navigation System C (ATSU FANS-C), an updated digital Radio Management Panel, and enhanced Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System functionality, aimed at safety and improved pilot workload management. BAA Training said the new certification brings its worldwide number of certified FFSs to 17, and highlights expanded capability across Airbus A320neo, Boeing 737NG and Boeing 747-400, including dry and wet lease and cabin crew training.
