Bears Facing Uncertain Left Tackle Situation Ahead of Week 4 Game vs. Jets

The Chicago Bears face another week of uncertainty at left tackle as they prepare for Week 4 against the New York Jets. Head coach Ben Johnson has not yet named a starting quarterback, and Braxton Jones remains a major question after suffering a knee injury during the Week 3 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Jones did not practice on Wednesday and is considered week-to-week. Meanwhile, Ozzy Trapilo is practicing fully but was inactive in Week 3 and remains unclear for Sunday, per Johnson. Pro Football Focus notes Joe Thuney has 299 left-tackle snaps; Jordan McFadden has none at that spot, suggesting Theo Benedet is the likeliest option.
