BermudAir CEO Talks New Routes, Planes And A Frequent Flyer Program
BermudAir is using its niche-focused model—expanded from Bermuda to other holiday destinations—to grow routes, fleet use, and a frequent-flyer approach under CEO Adam Scott. The privately held carrier launched small networks with Embraer 175 and 190 aircraft from Bermuda, aiming to compete where local and international demand fills seats even on less-than-daily schedules. Since inception, it has also launched AnguillAir to serve Anguilla, and Scott said the strategy targets high-yield markets with limited nonstop service, including Turks and Caicos, Belize, and Grand Cayman. He described onboard product choices tied to the islands, such as no single-use plastics, glassware service, and work with Anguilla’s Solar Sands artisans on recycled-glass items. Fleet flexibility lets BermudAir shift capacity by using E-190s on higher-demand periods and markets like Boston and Toronto.
