Bombardier Signs 10-Year Support Agreement With Swedish Armed Forces For Global 6500 Aircraft
Bombardier signs a 10-year support agreement with the Swedish Armed Forces for Global 6500 aircraft, following delivery of two jets for multi-role missions. Bombardier said Wednesday that the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration signed a 10-year Services Support Agreement on behalf of the Swedish Armed Forces after acquiring the two Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft. The aircraft support roles including transport of heads of state and are enrolled in Bombardier’s Smart Services Defense program, described as a cost-per-flight-hour support solution. The program covers key components, labor, ground support equipment, engineering expertise, technical assistance, mobile response teams and shipping costs. The agreement also provides access to Bombardier’s global 24/7 service and support network. The Global 6500 is marketed for government, defense and specialized mission operations, with long range, endurance, reliability and mission-system integration capabilities. Bombardier shares closed Tuesday at C$353.78, up 3.60%.
