Boston Blue's Donnie Wahlberg Breaks Silence After Private Plane Skids Off Runway at Las Vegas Airport

Donnie Wahlberg broke his silence after a private plane he was on skidded off a runway at a Las Vegas airport. In an Instagram post dated Sunday, Oct. 18, the actor, 57, said the aircraft “didn’t get up in the air” and “ran out of runway,” adding that the pilots “saved our lives.” Wahlberg also wrote “God covered us,” and said the plane went off runway 1L and contacted a fence, while avoiding “heavy” airport vehicles and equipment. Harry Reid International Airport confirmed the incident, stating there were no known injuries and that runways 1R and 1L would close for inspection, potentially causing delays. The FAA said the plane was bound for Toronto Pearson and that eight people were aboard when the takeoff was aborted. Wahlberg performed with New Kids on the Block the night before in Las Vegas.
