Budget airlines report rising passenger numbers in September

Ryanair and Wizz Air both reported year-on-year passenger growth for September. Ryanair carried 20.1 million passengers, up 4%, while keeping its September 2025 load factor unchanged at 94%. Wizz Air carried 7.8 million passengers in September, up 24.2% year-on-year, and increased capacity 25.3% to 8.46 million seats.
