EasyJet to introduce major offer to customers for first time ever
xCruzo Brief
easyJet plans a first-of-its-kind major customer offer centered on onboard connectivity. The carrier’s CEO Kenton Jarvis said the airline will partner with SpaceX to bring Starlink high-speed internet onboard for the first time, aiming to keep the experience more appealing for both leisure and business travelers. SpaceX’s Gwynne Shotwell said fast, reliable service would enable passengers to work, stream and stay in touch from takeoff to landing. easyJet carried 100 million passengers in 2025. The move follows a similar decision by British Airways: it promised free onboard Wi-Fi with streaming-level speeds starting this year, after a deal between its parent company, IAG, and Starlink to equip more than 500 aircraft.
