Embraer Execs Report Faster E2 Production | Aviation Week

Embraer expects 80 to 85 commercial jet deliveries this year as E2 production speeds up. Gomes cited a 28% reduction in production time from 2021 to 2026, with the E1 built in under a year and E190‑E2/E195‑E2 final assembly roughly 40–45 days. Backlog stands at $14.5 billion, with 24 customers already ordering E2s, and 202 units delivered since service entry in 2018. Arjan Meyer said the E2 holds a 76% market share versus the Airbus A220. GTF engine issues are improving, with only one or two E2s grounded versus about 22% of the global fleet in March 2025. Demand remains strong, giving Embraer a solid production outlook.
