Emirates third daily flight touches down in Nairobi
Emirates expands its Dubai–Nairobi connectivity with the arrival of its third daily flight, EK717, which touched down at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 05:00 am. The new service makes the route total 21 weekly flights and is timed for the summer schedule, with EK717 departing Dubai at 01:20 and arriving in Nairobi at 05:25. The return flight, EK718, departs Nairobi at 07:10 and arrives in Dubai at 13:15, enabling easier onward links into the UK, France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Portugal. Emirates staff and officials including Kenya’s aviation and tourism principals and UAE Ambassador H.E. Dr. Salim Ibrahim Bin Ahmed Mohammed Alnaqbi welcomed the milestone. Over three decades, Emirates has carried more than six million passengers to and from Kenya, connecting the country to 138 destinations via Dubai, and it also has a 2023 interline partnership with Kenya Airways.
