EVA Air Debuts the First Washington, D.C. to Taipei Nonstop Service reports EVA Air’s launch of a new nonstop route between Washington, D.C. and Taipei. The airline marked the start with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Washington Dulles International Airport on June 26, 2026, attended by officials including EVA Air President Mr. Sun, MWAA CEO and President Mr. Potter, and representatives from the Virginia Department of Aviation and Taipei’s economic office in the U.S. The service will be the carrier’s 10th North American gateway, aiming to improve connectivity between Taiwan and the U.S. East Coast. The company also says it is the first airline to offer nonstop service between the two cities, with the inaugural flight celebrated at the airport.
