Ex-Trump ally unleashes on Pete Hegseth: 'What the f--- are you talking about?'
A former Trump ally, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, criticized U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s response to troop deaths in the Middle East. Greene, a frequent critic of the Iran war, reacted after the Defense Department said two service members were killed in Jordan while defending against Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks. In a post on X, Hegseth wrote “Godspeed, heroes,” adding that their sacrifice would “stiffen our resolve,” a wording Greene said angered her. She argued the soldiers were killed due to a war she linked to the administration’s actions on behalf of Israel, and she later offered condolences as reports emerged of a third death. Separately, U.S. Central Command said another service member died in northern Iraq during a controlled detonation of unexploded ordnance from a downed Iranian drone.
