Fastjet Expands African Connectivity With Euroairlines, Etihad Partnerships reports Fastjet is enlarging its regional and international presence through two partnerships. Zimbabwe-based Fastjet signed a commercial agreement with Madrid-headquartered Euroairlines to distribute Fastjet-operated flights through Euroairlines’ global international sales network, marketing them under Fastjet’s “FN” code and issuing tickets on Euroairlines’ IATA Q4 ticketing plate. The carrier expects the tie-up to improve visibility for destinations in South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe and support more efficient connections in Africa. Separately, Fastjet Zimbabwe signed a memorandum of understanding with Etihad Airways in Harare on July 7, with plans for later codeshare and frequent-flyer cooperation. The interline partnership enables Etihad passengers to connect to Fastjet Zimbabwe flights to Bulawayo and Victoria Falls, plus Johannesburg, on one ticket, with sales starting Aug. 24. Etihad’s scheduled Abu Dhabi–Harare flights are set for March 24, 2027. Fastjet is also preparing a relaunch of Fastjet Mozambique using Embraer ERJ145s under a Solenta franchise agreement.
