Flydubai passenger tells Israeli PM how he helped stop attacker

A passenger on a diverted Flydubai flight told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu how he and others helped stop the alleged cockpit attacker. Netanyahu met the man at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv. The passenger described pinning the alleged attacker to the ground and pulling the plane’s controls backward to prevent the jet from nosediving. The aircraft was diverted to Saudi Arabia after plummeting about 17,000 feet in less than two minutes, according to the report. After the incident, passengers later landed safely in Tel Aviv, with a replacement Flydubai plane transporting them onward to their destination.
