Four Green Bay Packers linemen did not participate in Sept. 30 practice

Four Green Bay Packers players were absent from the team’s Sept. 30 practice. Coach Matt LaFleur said wide receiver Jayden Reed is out for the season with a neck injury suffered in Week 2 against the New York Jets. Guard Aaron Banks also did not participate; he missed the opener vs. the Minnesota Vikings, returned in Week 2, but missed the second half and was ruled out for the home game against the Atlanta Falcons. Banks has knee tendinitis since training camp and a toe injury since Week 2, and LaFleur said his status for the Oct. 4 road game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers remains uncertain. Guards Jacob Monk and defensive tackles Anthony Campbell and Karl Brooks also missed practice.
