Georgia groom killed, bride injured on wedding night when helicopter crashes in woods

A tragic helicopter crash on a wedding night in Dawsonville, Georgia killed the groom and injured the bride after a Robinson R66 went down in a wooded area. Dave Fiji, a Delta Air Lines Endeavor first officer, died in the accident, while his wife Jesni Fiji survived with non-life-threatening injuries and, relatives say, awoke to find her husband on her chest amid the grisly scene. The couple had been returning from The Revere wedding venue for a hotel near DeKalb-Peachtree Airport when the helicopter descended in a 10,000-acre wildlife area. The NTSB is investigating the crash.
