Giants trade candidate: Jets RB Breece Hall

The New York Giants are expected to pursue Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor ahead of the Nov. 10 trade deadline, and the possibility also exists that any deal could include veteran defensive tackle Grover Stewart. If that doesn’t happen, the Giants could consider another back from across town, the New York Jets’ Breece Hall. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn said the team is not interested in trading Hall, calling him one of their better players and saying “Breece will still be here.” Still, trade talk could emerge depending on price. Connor Hughes of SNY TV said the Jets would need an offer that “blows away” them, and that including a second-round pick likely triggers discussions. Hall has one 1,000-yard season in four full years and is expected back after missing five weeks with a right quad injury.
