Grandmother, Daughters, and Grandson Among 6 Victims Who Died in Wisconsin Plane Crash
A small plane crash in Wisconsin killed six people, including grandmother Mary Brion, her two adult daughters Kayla Turpin and Amanda Haremza, and her grandson Rylan Haremza, family members said Thursday. The group had been flying home Tuesday night after surprising Brion’s granddaughters at their high school volleyball game. The other victims were Tyler Harvey, 36, of Cadott, and Ron Riek, the pilot and businessperson from Woodville who owned the aircraft. The Sauk County Sheriff’s office identified the victims. NTSB is leading the investigation, saying most wreckage was found Wednesday and that it documented the cabin, cockpit, engines, and propellers at the main crash site. Authorities planned additional searches Friday for scattered parts.
