Hawaiian Airlines A330 Flew Again Just Hours After Mystery Odor Sickened 7 Crew

Seven Hawaiian Airlines flight attendants became ill after reporting a mystery odor in the cabin during an Airbus A330-200 flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu. The incident occurred Thursday on Alaska Airlines-marketed Flight AS803, operated by Hawaiian, which departed LAX at 10:12 AM local time on September 24 and landed at Honolulu International Airport at 12:57 PM after nearly six hours. Seven crew members reported nausea and headaches, were evaluated by medical staff on the ground, and the airline said no passengers required treatment. Despite the unresolved odor source, the A330 (registration N375HA) returned to service just over ten hours later as Flight AS808 to Las Vegas.
