Holidaymaker Sucked Out of Jet Window at 15,000 Feet in Terrifying Mid-Air Ordeal - Internewscast Journal

A Ryanair Boeing 737 flight incident over 15,000 feet left a holidaymaker partially sucked toward a blown-out window, with survival largely attributed to quick action by his wife. Ljubisa Karovic was traveling from Thessaloniki to Memmingen on flight FR1879 on July 10, seated in 11F, when around 20 minutes into his nap the cabin suffered a violent blast and the window shattered into fragments. As decompression followed, he was pulled toward the open space at high speed, described at nearly 500 mph, and he suffered burns from the high-speed winds. His wife, Svetlana Grkovic Maksimovic, seated three rows behind in 14C, grabbed his legs and other passengers joined to help keep him from being pulled out. The aircraft made an emergency landing, and investigators are working to determine why the window failed.
