AG Barr, the producer behind Irn-Bru and Rubicon, said supply-chain problems limited its growth in the first half of 2026, though it believes the disruption has been resolved. The company estimated that delivery disruptions and reduced product availability on shelves cost it about £10 million in revenue. It blamed part of the issue on internal factors tied to its “capability and capacity change programme,” as well as external manufacturing problems involving a third party. AG Barr, based in Cumbernauld, said stock availability and customer service normalized during the second half of the year as most of the Cumbernauld operational change programme was completed and a Milton Keynes manufacturing upgrade stayed on track. For the six months to Aug. 1, total revenues rose 8.5% to £247.4 million, aided by the acquisitions of Fentimans and Frobishers. Adjusted pre-tax profit increased 2.6% to £36.1 million.
