Jaylon Coleman scored twice to lift Liberty to a 34-6 victory over Kennesaw State on Thursday night. Coleman recorded a touchdown reception and a 9-yard rushing TD as Liberty improved to 6-1 overall and 3-1 in Conference USA, while Kennesaw State fell to 1-6 and 0-3. Liberty struck first on an 85-yard opening drive, taking a 7-0 lead on a 1-yard touchdown run by Kam Davis with 7:11 left in the first quarter. Later, Coleman’s 56-yard catch-and-run made it 14-0 before halftime, and a 9-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter extended the advantage to 21-0.
