JetBlue Adds 12 First Class Seats By Cutting 12 EvenMore Seats -- And Giving Everyone In Coach Less

JetBlue plans to alter the cabin layout of its next Airbus A320, replacing part of its premium “EvenMore” product with new “BlueFirst” first class. Aviation watchdog JonNYC reports the new A320 will have three rows of first class (12 BlueFirst seats in a 2-2 layout) and reduce the EvenMore cabin from five rows to three. The configuration is identified as “3R0,” with a full product reveal expected September 1, and a leaked seat map circulating the details. Overall, the airline keeps 162 seats and preserves 120 standard seats in coach, but passengers in the back lose some space as the premium mix rises without increasing total premium seat count.
