Jets Add Former Broncos Starter & 6-Foot-3 Linebacker, Cut Rookie Wide Receiver

The New York Jets activated veteran wide receiver Tim Patrick from injured reserve ahead of Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, adding him to the active roster in moves filed Saturday. The team also waived WR Jamaal Pritchett and elevated LB Jaden Keller from the practice squad for game day. Patrick, 32, listed at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, returns after missing time since just before the regular-season opener. He has produced 2.590 yardas y 18 touchdowns en 191 recepciones en 87 partidos con 49 titularidades for stops that included the Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jets’ roster reshuffling is framed as a size upgrade while managing Patrick’s fit alongside Geno Smith’s offense.
