Jets Add 'Massive' O-Lineman, Two Linebackers Amid Critical Roster News

The New York Jets are placing linebacker Kiko Mauigoa on injured reserve, opening roster space for a mix of rookies and depth ahead of Sunday’s AFC East game against the Miami Dolphins. The Athletic’s Zack Rosenblatt reported on Oct. 24 that the team signed linebacker Jaden Keller to the active roster and elevated linebacker Troy Reeder and offensive lineman Brant Banks from the practice squad. Banks, a 6-foot-7, 306-pound former undrafted free agent, joined the Jets in September 2026 after time with the Green Bay Packers. Keller, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound rookie college free agent, has played in three games via elevations and now gets a spot on the 53-man roster. Mauigoa, a fifth-round pick in 2025, had not recorded a tackle in three games this season.
