Jets Who've Clearly Worn Out Their Welcome in New York After 7 Games

With the Jets sitting at 2-5 entering Week 8 against the Raiders, their playoff hopes are essentially gone, and the team may be forced into changes before the NFL trade deadline and again in the offseason. Even with 10 games remaining, the article points to five Jets who, so far, look out of place long term. Offense coordinator Frank Reich is criticized for situational play-calling, with New York ranking 31st in red-zone touchdowns through seven weeks. Cornerback Brandon Stephens has allowed 11 catches for 167 yards and a touchdown over four weeks and has no interceptions in two seasons. Wide receiver Tim Patrick, signed on a one-year deal in May, has only three catches on 59 routes.
