Jett Lawrence snaps two-race 450 losing streak moto at RedBud in first race
Jett Lawrence ended a two-race 450cc losing streak at RedBud National in Buchanan, Michigan, by passing Hunter Lawrence on the last lap of Moto 1. Hunter took the lead late in the race’s first moto and built a six-second advantage, but crashed halfway through the final lap, allowing Jett to move ahead. Jett arrived in RedBud MX after losing both motos at High Point, topping the fastest lap in Qualification 1 and taking the lead from Jorge Prado on Lap 3. Early in the top group, Jorge earned the holeshot, with the Lawrence brothers close behind; Hunter completed a pass on Prado on Lap 7. Justin Barcia started fourth on Lap 1 but crashed on Lap 3, ending his chance at a top-five finish, while Haiden Deegan remounted late and finished Lap 1 in 36th.
