Royal Air’s direct flights between Tanzania and Comoros inaugurate a new tier of regional connectivity. Julius Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam hosted the launch, with Royal Air operating four weekly services on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Friday operations will include passenger arrivals and cargo carriage back to Comoros. The route adds competition to Air Tanzania and Precision Air and aims to boost trade and investment. JNIA Director Bertha Bankwa framed the service as a major aviation milestone and a vehicle for increased airport revenue through higher passenger and cargo volumes. The Comoros ambassador in Tanzania lauded strengthened bilateral ties and growth opportunities.
