John “Bill” William Conley, 78, died Monday, June 15, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, according to an obituary. He was born September 28, 1947, in Hammond, Louisiana, and later lived in Atlanta, Georgia, for more than 25 years. Conley graduated from Catholic High School in 1965 and then attended UNO to earn a bachelor’s degree in both civil and mechanical engineering. He also served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Gail, his children Jennifer Anderson (Tim) and Justin Conley (Abby), and his grandchild, Townes. His visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, with the memorial Mass at 10 a.m. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Arrangements were handled by Greenoaks Funeral Home.
