Low Usage": Air France Denies Paris Business Class Lounge Sauna Used As 'Sex Den'
Air France has denied rumors that a sauna in its Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) business-class lounge was used as a “sex den.” The controversy followed reports that the lounge at CDG Terminal E, Hall L—identified as being at issue in media and social posts—had been closed due to alleged inappropriate passenger behavior. A passenger had shared on social media that the sauna and other facilities were shut, prompting a lounge manager’s response implying people were “doing things in there they should not have.” After aviation outlets and an Instagram account amplified the claims, Air France issued a denial. The airline said the men’s and women’s saunas were closed in September 2025 due to low usage and to standardize lounge services at CDG Terminal 2 for customers.
