Manchester Airport flights disrupted due to air traffic control issues - full list

Manchester Airport said dozens of flights were delayed or cancelled on September 21 due to an air traffic control system technical issue at National Air Traffic Services’ (NATS) control centre in Prestwick, Scotland. The problem affected airports across northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland, following an earlier NATS outage earlier this month that led to more than 2,000 cancellations. Manchester Airport later said the issue had been fixed, though some flights could still be affected. Airlines including easyJet, KLM, Aer Lingus and Ryanair cancelled services to destinations such as Belfast, Amsterdam and Brussels. Delays ranged from 40 minutes to more than three hours, drawing criticism from industry leaders and calls for improvements.
