Manufacturing begins in Que. for Bombardier's Global 8000, "the world's fastest business jet" - Plant

Bombardier says manufacturing of key structural components for the first Global 8000 production jet has started at sites in Saint-Laurent (Québec), Red Oak (Texas) and Querétaro (Mexico). The aircraft is designed for 8,000 nautical miles of range and a top speed of Mach 0.94, and Bombardier says it is set to enter service in the second half of 2025. The company positions the Global 8000 as the world’s fastest, longest-range purpose-built business jet, including four “true living spaces” and a separate crew rest area. Bombardier also highlights cabin upgrades such as entertainment control and connectivity, its nice Touch CMS with an OLED touch dial, and the l’Opéra directional audio system.
