United Airlines is adding 12 new routes from Chicago O’Hare (ORD) in Q3, according to Cirium scheduling data, expanding domestic options compared with the same period in 2025. The carrier has faced recent pressure at O’Hare after FAA flight caps led to cuts to some routes, but the third-quarter increase to 12 destinations remains notable. Three of the new services run east: Lancaster (LNS) with 158 departures in Q3 operated by SkyWest CRJ jets under United Express, plus daily links to Lynchburg (LYH) and Clarksburg’s North Central West Virginia Airport (CKB). Westbound growth includes daily 737 service to Santa Barbara (SBA) and limited-frequency 737-800 operations to Monterey (MRY), with more expansion toward Eugene.
