Menzies Aviation Wins JetSMART Ground Handling Contract Across 11 Colombian Airports

Menzies Aviation has won a new ground handling contract with JetSMART in Colombia, covering 11 airports and more than doubling its network in the country. The operator will deliver a full range of ground handling services and support over 43,000 aircraft turns annually. Operations began in September at four airports where Menzies already had a presence: Barranquilla, Bogotá, Cali and Medellín. The agreement expands coverage to seven additional locations: Bucaramanga, Cartagena, Cúcuta, Montería, Pereira, San Andrés and Santa Marta. It also formalizes a single ground handling partner for JetSMART across all 11 sites, building on an existing relationship in Chile where Menzies supports the airline in 10 cities.
