JetBlue Announces 1st-Ever Flights to Venezuela With New Fort Lauderdale-Caracas Route

JetBlue plans its first-ever nonstop service to Venezuela, linking Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International (FLL) with Simón Bolívar International (CCS) near Caracas. The route awaits government approvals and Venezuela’s operational processes, with a potential start before year-end if permitted. Flights would be operated by an Airbus A320, offering JetBlue’s standard product, including Fly-Fi and seatback entertainment. Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s head of network planning, cites strong demand from South Florida’s Venezuelan community as a key driver. The Fort Lauderdale gateway strengthens JetBlue’s Caribbean and Latin America focus, while Caracas would feed regional connections across the network.
