Ohio State lands commitment from No. 1 recruit Jett Harrison in massive recruiting win
Ohio State secured a major 2028 recruiting commitment when five-star wide receiver Jett Harrison, ranked as the nation’s No. 1 prospect by On3 for the 2028 class, announced his pledge to Ryan Day’s program on Wednesday. Harrison chose Ohio State over finalists Oregon and Miami, strengthening the Buckeyes’ standing as a top destination for elite wide receivers. He is listed by Rivals as the No. 1 overall player in the 2028 class and the top wideout nationally. The 6-foot-2, 175-pound Harrison from St. Joseph’s Prep is noted for route running, body control, and ball skills. The decision also continues the Harrison family legacy: his older brother, Marvin Harrison Jr., starred at Ohio State before being selected No. 4 in the 2024 NFL Draft, while their father, Marvin Harrison Sr., is an NFL Hall of Famer.
