Raiders give up over 100 yards rushing to Jets' Braelon Allen...in the 1st half
xCruzo Brief
The Raiders’ run defense struggled again as the Jets pounded them on the ground, even without Breece Hall, a former 1,000-yard rusher. In the first half, Hall’s replacement, Braelon Allen, totaled 121 rushing yards. Allen reached that mark on 16 carries, averaging 6.7 yards per carry. He started hot with two consecutive 15-yard runs on the Jets’ opening drive, then added four carries for 14 yards on their second scoring drive. His longest run of the half went for 24 yards on the Jets’ second touchdown drive. Allen also produced two more runs on another touchdown drive. The Jets carried a 23-14 lead into halftime, with their heavy reliance on Allen accounting for much of the damage.
